(Hollywood, CA): Noah Blake has been cast for the leading male role in the new L.A. crime drama entitled “Venice 13.” The show is about the highly successful undercover unit known as Precinct 13 in Los Angeles, which is responsible for numerous successful operations .
Blake, who is the son of controversial Television icon Robert Blake, has made a name for himself in Hollywood on his own starring in television and films including JAG, General Hospital and The Office. “Noah Blake brings an incredible depth to the project,” says Bob Bekian, Executive Producer. “In addition to being a fine actor himself, Noah is a respected acting teacher with lots of experience and ideas.”
“Venice 13” is an ambitious project as it deals with the underground trade happening in L.A. based on the 2000 shipping containers that enter the port each day. Many of these containers transport chemicals and weapons which threaten national security. “The gangs and syndicates that distribute contraband from the port of L.A. are real and very dangerous,” added JoJo Ryder, also executive producer of the project.
Blake plays ‘Commander Giamala,’ the former CIA intelligence officer who joined the NTAS after 9/11.
“Precinct 13 in Venice is a legendary unit in the world of law enforcement” added Bekian.
